It has been quite busy the past few weeks, but Anomaly is officialy done. At the moment we busy building the rewards for the donators and where planning a private screening for some of the donators. After this there will we be an online release!. Keep checking in Anomaly will be here soon!

Crunch Time!

Dedicated followers most probaly noticed that there was some radio silence at the Anomaly HQ. At the moment were in full Post-Production. Rendering, composit as well as a number of different FX are being created. Also we put the audio guys of our project to work to finish the audio and audio FX.

Anyways, were still alive!

Last week we had a busy week. Every shot has been filmed, check out the updated gallery in the previous post. Although sometimes quite cold, we are very happy that we had nice and consistent weather during the shoot, this way every scene fits in the movie and there is no need for a re-shoot. As from this week it’s time to get back inside and behind the computers. We made a start with the first edit of the movie and some 3D tracking work. Keep checking our blog, we’ll keep you posted!

First Scens

Thursday we started filming, so we had two very busy production days. Two short nights and a early rise and we have the first couple of scenes recored, We still have two full days to go Monday and Teusday. One these days we will do the more complex cgi scenes. We are very happy with results that we already have and with every production day its getting even better. Check out some the pictures of the first day! Stay tuned because more will follow in the coming days and weeks.

Shoot preparations

First, many thanks for the donations so far on Cinecrowd.nl! We are glad to see that there are so many people excited about the project. We want to keep you up to date about the project. This week we’ve been busy with te preparations for the actual shootingdays next week.

We have scouted several mysterious locations to check out if it fits to the atmosphere of the story. Large naturelandscapes and abandoned houses and buildings, everything that has the same feel as Chernobyl, we’ve looked at it. We also prepared different props for the movie. Several objects like gasmasks, AK-47 rifles and survivalkits are made and finetuned for the film.

Tomorrow we will have another actorday. We are going to discuss the story and play several scenes to get the feeling right and get clear what we’re up to.Look here for preparation photos:

Actor Day

Hi Guys,

Yesterday we’ve had the first actorday for the movie. We’ve worked out our storyboard and presented this for the crew.
This was very important because of the same vision we need to make the actual movie. Every character needs to know what his motivation is and how he or she reacts on different situations in the story. The style that we are filming is ‘Handheld’ so it was important to see the capability of the actors to improvise.

It was very helpfull and good to know what the actors see and think of their character. We also asked their opinion and vision about the story to get a clear image what people see and experience. At the end of the day we planned the shooting. We will post some awesome pictures about this day to pick up some atmosphere.
We also did animationtests with the digital animals and they are working great! we will post an update of the boar and rabbit soon!
